Fannin County Youth CouncilThe Fannin County Youth Council is made up of middle and high school students with a goal of bettering our community for all our families. We do this by providing help with community service projects such as... The Rivers Alive Cleanup, Habitat For Humanity, March of Dimes, Empty Stocking and roadside cleanup projects throughout the year. Additionally, we post information at the school to help educate youth on current social issues such as...dropping out, self-esteem, peer pressure, and drug/alcohol/tobacco use. Each year we host four weekly sessions of True Love Waits; an after prom event and a post graduation event. These activities are to give our youth additional support and encouragement in making better decisions for their future. Fannin County supports its youth for a great today but a better tomorrow!
