Murray County Youth CouncilThe youth council for Murray County was begun 15 years ago. The council has changed a great deal since the initial council was formed. The purpose of the council is to empower teens to make healthy decisions and develop leadership skills to lead them to a successful future. Initially, the council worked in the clinic to advise teens to make better decisions. However, now the council primarily does community awareness events to help teens. The council consists of teens from Murray County High School. |
